Nice Dish With Cool Dry Surface

This dish is indeed self drying and feels dry to the touch even when I use it with handmade soap that can get soggy and mushy if left wet. It has two little grooves on the bottom that help with drainage as well. It works well, but isn't the most attractive soap dish. Absolutely lives up to its name and description!
